Bogidar Iliev, a.k.a. Bojo was born in 1978 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Thanks to his grandmother he learned how to play tabla (cubeless
backgammon) at the age of 4. Ever since tabla became his love, passion,
challenge and an endless life adventure. He begun playing mixed tabla in a
decent fashion, from around the age of 7. Mixed tabla means 3
completely different games that together form the traditional way that
people play backgammon in Bulgaria. In addition to his natural flair and
understanding of tabla, in his teen years Bojo had total supremacy and
domination over his school mates, friends and other tabla players.
SLAVIA BACKGAMMON CLUB
On the 2nd of June 2002 Bogidar Iliev created and set up the "Slavia

Bogidar Iliev made his backgammon debut in 2016 in Istanbul. After the
tournament he purchased "eXtreme Gammon" and the beginning of his
